USHERETTE DUTIES:
As an usherette, you are required to be in church a minimum of 30 minutes before service to pray in the prayer room, then with the usherettes as a group right before service. Your post assignment will be given to your prior to service. You are to maintain order in the service, serve God’s people and assist the pastors and leaders in anything they may need You must be dressed modestly (no denim, no shorts, no t-shirts, no low necks, etc.).
You will also be required to se the example by having a godly attitude when faced with difficult situations.
VACATIONS
We at Praise Chapel highly encourage yearly vacations, however; just as with any other secular employment that requires adherence to company guidelines regarding vacations, we also require adherence to kingdom guidelines regarding vacations.
We believe that the kingdom of God should not be treated with any less respect than our secular commitments, this is why we have developed the following guidelines.
(1) You must put in your request for vacation with Maria Tafoya no later than 30 days prior to vacation time. (2) Small group leaders must await pastor's approval. (please allow 3 working days after the notice reaches the pastor)
(3) Small group leaders: It is preferable that you take your vacations all at once rather than splitting them up in small portions. (remember you lead a group of people and they need you present as much as possible)
